I'm sick of all the lies and this civil rights chatter going on right now. I had to write a letter to this mouth-breather. I think I'll keep it as a template. Looks like we're going to continue to need it for a while...

Dear Ms. Foxx:
You, madame, are a liar. Your misleading statements about the crime against Matthew Shepard and his loved ones should leave you hanging your head in deep shame. Your denial of our civil rights will haunt you in the future.
Please think about this: Look at someone you love dearly. Now, imagine they are dying in the hospital and you are denied visitation due to your lack of legal rights as a married partner. Your loved one dies, terrified and alone, while you are 30 feet away, frantically trying to get past the waiting area doors to say goodbye.
Look at your loved one again and please think about that. Their tears, your pleas--those final awful minutes. It is horrific, it is inhuman, and ultimately, it will be found unconstitutional. That is what you and your ilk are doing. You are ripping real families and loved ones apart. You are protecting hate. You are ensuring that at least some second-class citizens die alone. I mean, isn't one too many?
You, whatever your 'good' intentions, are hurting mothers and daughters, husbands and sons, grandparents, and lovers alike because they 'dare' love someone who is gay.
WE DESERVE TO BE PROTECTED FROM HATE CRIMES. WE DESERVE ALL THE SAME RIGHTS AND PROTECTIONS AS HETEROSEXUALS UNDER THE CONSTITUTION! You will understand that some day, hopefully soon.
Peace to you and your family, and Peace unto mine (Eventually...)
Sincerely,
Michael Bova
